Hello Friends,
I have recently relocated to the historical district of Santa Ana and invite you to my studio for guitar and/or piano instruction.
My teaching philosphy is simple...keep the student engaged. Each student is unique and must have lesson material that is both challenging and fun. Therefore, finding the material to keep the student excited is the goal.
I look forward to meeting you.

PRIVATE LESSON GUIDELINES
Piano and Guitar
First, thank you for your interest in my music program.
Together we will identify a weekly 30 minute time slot that will be your reserved individual lesson. Although times may change, either because of my schedule or yours, this will remain your time unless otherwise changed.
I offer a first lesson at no charge. This policy permits me to evaluate your playing level and to set a plan of action to best fit your needs. Also, you can get a feel for the teacher-student chemistry.
Also, please remember these few policies that help us keep on track…
1. If you cannot make a lesson, simply call me and let me know…with 24 hour notice...there is no charge.
2. If you need to change a time, I am very flexible and will make sure I accommodate your schedule.
3. Lessons are $29 per each for a 30 minute lesson. 1 hour lessons are available.
4. Combination piano/guitar lessons are available.
5. Payment for lessons should be made at the first lesson of each month for the entire month’s lessons.
Example…If a September has 4 Tuesdays…4 x 29=$ 136 to be paid at first lesson of the month.
6. Please bring your lesson music from the previous lesson with you. It is important to make sure you have mastered the week's lesson, as we can progress to more difficult material.
• Recital Performances…Please let me know if you would like to participate. I typically do a Christmas and Spring recital.
• Ways to improve the lessons…Please give me your feedback. I want to provide the best, most enjoyable experience possible.
Warmest regards,
Jerry McFarland
